"You know you are just making this harder on yourself?" Rose said her temper under control. Her eyes had a strange crazy sparkle in them. "My son maybe in love with you but that won't stop him from doing what is right."

"What is right?" Mandisa screamed. "What do you people know about what is right? You ruin people lives for the fun of it and you don't care about anyone but yourselves. You are some piece of work do you know that? I have thought I have met all kinds in my line of work, but no one comes close to you and your family. You all make me sick! I curse the day I heard the name Motsepe."

The two women faced each other; Rose smiled, annoying Mandisa further.

"Let us have Joy and you won't have to deal with us again. We will go back to Durban and you will never hear from us again."

"Lady, do you have a hearing problem or something? You are not getting Joy. End of story. I don't care what you do but you are not getting your filthy hands on my nephew. Over my dead body."

Rose nodded as if she understood. "What about Tebogo?"

"What about him?" Mandisa asked swallowing hard.

"Do you care what he does?"

"Not unless it revolves around him burning in hell." Mandisa said earnestly. Rose smiled understandingly though what she understood, Mandisa had no idea.

"So be it. No one can say you were not warned. See you in court."
