"I forgot you have the manners of a cannibal." She said coldly "I didn't think you were going to offer." He answered. "And while you are still offering, how about something to eat, I'm starved."

"Certainly." She said her face breaking into a pleasant smile. "What would you like to have, rat poison, dog poo or a bullet?"

He couldn't help grinning like an idiot.

"Actually, I'll rather eat you up. You look delicious." She rolled her eyes.

"Typical barbarian!" She mumbled and went back to the kitchen leaving Tebogo chuckling deliciously. He stood up and went to her entertainment unit. She had a 54cm flat screen television and a high tech looking music system. She switched it on and immediately the room was filled with jazz music. Tebogo looked through her music collection. It was impressive and ranged from soul ballads to kwaito.

"Hey, Mannie, do you by any chance have Hugh Masekela?" He called out to her. He sensed her walking into the room and turned to face her and got hit on the face with some piece of clothing.

"Put that on!" She told him briskly. "And yes I have Masekela but Bonisile borrowed it and the name is Mandisa to the likes of you and Mandy to my friends and family." She told him setting the table. Tebogo looked at the tee shirt she had thrown at him. It was a man shirt and looked about his size.

"Who does this belong to?" He asked wondering why he should put on something. He was quite comfortable the way he was and the fact that his semi nakedness made her uncomfortable made it much sweeter.

"It's mine. I bought it." She told him disappearing again and reappeared two minutes later with two plates of spaghetti. She looked at him.

"Well?"

"I don't see why I should put this on. I'm comfortable the way I am." He told her.

"I bet you are." She said drily and placed the plates on the table. "You are not eating with your torso showing. This is not the dark ages."

She had a point there and since she seemed to have her shyness under control, he did as she asked. The shirt smelled of her, sweet and spicy. It was as if he was hugging her and he liked the feeling.

"Why would you buy a man's tee shirt? Was it a present to your boyfriend?"
