Mandisa didn't waste money like most women did. Her furniture was elegant but cheap, her clothes tasteful but inexpensive. She and her sisters went out now and again but they never spent more than they could afford. Even Bonisile the actress who was the only one who seemed to possess a taste for a rich life, didn't spend a cent over her budget which Mandisa maintained.

"Fine then," He said once his laughter had subdued. "Wash it then."

That caught her by surprise but it didn't match the look she gave him when he stripped out of the shirt. Her eyes almost popped out of her face. She turned her face away quickly.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?"

There was tremor in her voice and she asked without looking at him. Tebogo wondered if she had never seen a man's torso before. She was behaving like a prude which was strange. People nowadays were so used to nudity, they hardly bat an eyelash. Now here was a woman in her late twenties acting horrified at just seeing his chest.

"I thought that was obvious. You can't wash the shirt while I'm still wearing it." He said certain that the thought wouldn't displease her. Putting him in a washing machine and watch him spin around would certainly put a smile on her beautiful spotless face.

"Please put on your shirt!" She demanded or rather thought she did as her voice came out small and timid.

"Just as soon as you get it cleaned, sweetheart." Tebogo said, wondering how he could use her old fashioned behavior to his advantage. "And while you are at it, how about you wash my pants, they also have some coffee stained in them." Tebogo made to undo his belt and that got her turning to face him quickly.

"Don't you dare!!!!" She screamed. Since she was dark skinned, he couldn't tell if her face burnt with color of not, but her eyes were blazing. Tebogo had to guess if they were burning with anger, embarrassment or sexual interest, either way he was happy that they were alive. They excited him. She had big light brown diamond shaped eyes that told of hardship, strength and compassion. Her chin was stubborn and defiant and her mouth when smiling looked ripe and inviting but when scolding, looked threatening and dangerous. Tebogo spent a second staring at her lips. They were dark red from the wine. And since she was no longer smiling, they were threatening. Not that Tebogo noticed. He wanted to kiss them. Taste them. Would they be semi sweet like the wine or bitter sweet like her?
