I worked so hard and so brilliantly in tracing down these people. First their location; gleaned from that accommodating Miss Washington and her memory of the area code. Then, she heard the cry of an infant in the background. I wisely followed with my careful research of recent births in this community until I found mother LeBlanc, lately arrived from a city near Lynn, Massachusetts! Surely such sleuthing and cleverness deserves more reward than hiding in the bushes and watching the dogs of law ineptly do their duty.

Is this beautiful mother the tipster? If it is not she I suspect she possesses knowledge of the one I seek, the one who is my target. Now, before I have a chance to inquire, one of her coworkers, Mr. Abbott, has been injured or killed by an intruder who now may have met his just reward. But the hospital lists no Mr. Abbott as a patient. The plot thickens while I digest this new information and sort out the players before I plan my future fun and games.

I've now located and examined three different homes that list five adult occupants. Mr. Abbott's home was empty at the time of my initial perusal so it was his residence I sought to enter first. In the Gustefson home resides a delightful young lady for whom I have special plans. She frequently walks a dog, a loathsome animal who fails to warm to my affection. This creature I'll avoid when I come calling, which I soon plan to do. But with Mr. Abbott's home in such disarray I'm forced to move on. I'll pay a visit the beautiful mother on Greenbriar Road.
