Meghna, Janaki and Rukmani decided to sleep in master bedroom while Sagar and Sankar used Meghna room. Rukmani offered a glass of milk to everyone and while she offered to Meghna she spoke to her,” Meghna, Are you happy dear?”
“Of course, mom. Actually mom I didn’t expect this response from you all. I thought that there might be some argument and misunderstandings between two families but now that you have all agreed to it. I am so happy, mom.”
“Meghna, you are our daughter. How can we say NO to you? Also the way you informed me about your love with Sagar and you didn’t hide any incident from me. You were so confident about your decision. That is what made me to think on it. After seeing Janaki and you along I decided that your decision is right.”
“Thank you, Mom. But how did dad agree to it?”
“He did a lot of background check on them and then he found out that all scandals about Sagar were false and he was a different person in nature. He also understood your feelings dear. Has your dad ever said NO to you?”
Meghna smiled and Rukmani continued, “Dear, as your mother and as friend I must say that for every relationship trust is more important. It is the trust that holds the relationship. So never do things which can break the trust. Once lost it can be regained back. Even if you regain, it won’t be in the same way. Do you understand dear?”
