Sagar saw both of them and said, “You both, Not at all fair” and all three laughed together.
Meghna liked his mom very much and they had their dinner and had hearty laughing conversations. Sagar got a phone call so he excused himself and went out to speak. Meghna and Janaki were left alone.
Janaki saw Meghna and asked her, “Do you love him?”
She nodded her head and replied, “Yes mom. Can I also call you mom?”
Janaki smiled at her and said. “My dear child, yes of course you can. Did he propose you? Did he discuss anything about marriage?”
“Actually mom he proposed me yesterday only and he didn’t discuss anything about marriage yet.”
“Well, Meghna I must say this to you first. Hearing that he proposed you itself makes me happy but I wish you both to marry soon.”
“Why mom? What is the matter to hurry up?”
“Dear, do you know that he doesn’t believe in love and marriage?”
“Yes Mom. I know that, even his classmate Siddarth who is a close friend and boss of mine had also informed me about it. But what is the reason mom? Anyway but now he is in love with me, isn’t he?”
“Yes dear. He is madly in love with you. First let me tell you the reason. Actually it was a love marriage between myself and his dad but later due to some misunderstandings we broke up. During his childhood days he has always seen both of us fighting with each other and that has left a huge impact on him. That is the reason he didn’t believe in love and marriage as he thought that they will break up eventually” saying this she breathed and sighed. She then went sat close to Meghna held her hands and continued, “But after meeting you he had got some belief in love and I know very well that you can understand and take care of him. So Meghna, Can you marry him and show what relationship and life is to him?”
