I laughed. "Unstable? Is that really what you are going to tell me?"

"It's true," he replied, running his hand through his short, brown hair. "She has tried committing suicide a couple times. When I broke up with her a month ago and moved back into my own house, she began seeing her psychologist again. But last night, she threatened to kill herself again. I was afraid she was going to do it, so I took her out to cheer her up and slept on the sofa. I'm not in love with her. I don't think I ever was, but I wouldn't want her suicide on my conscience."

I took a good look at him. What he was saying sounded genuine. My head was telling me to move on because our relationship was beginning on lies. My heart was starting to wonder if everything he said was correct. I pictured how I would handle a suicidal boyfriend that I wasn't in love with. I knew I wouldn't want to have a man's death on my conscious either. Yet, I didn't know if I could just give in and look past the way they kissed. There was a fire burning in their kiss.

"Jacob, I…" I began, but he brushed his hand against my cheek, and the same feeling I felt for him when we first met came rushing back in. "Jacob…I…" My words were cut off with a kiss. I felt his strong tongue caressing mine. I melted into his embrace for a moment, forgetting why I was even upset.

"Make love to me and you will know it is real," he whispered against our deep and passionate kiss.

"No. We shouldn't do that," I whispered, fighting hard to walk the fine line between right and wrong; the line between being a woman in charge of her feelings, and a little girl going with the flow.

"Please!" he urged me, latching his lips onto mine and pulling me closer to him. He didn't seem to worry about who would see us. "You're in here," he said patting his shirt over his heart. "Jacob's Destiny…"

My breathing was erratic and my heart was leaping out of my chest, as I parted from his kiss. Without saying a word, I just nodded. I climbed into my car and he knew what his next move would be. I allowed him to follow me back to Embassy Suites, despite all rationale.

We fell down on my bed, our lips taking over, as his hands caressed my breasts. I moaned, wrapping my arms around him and massaging the nape of his neck. For a brief moment, I knew I was making a mistake. But, it's hard to fight what's wrong in the heat of the moment. Our naked bodies pressed against each other, as we continued the dance between our tongues. His tongue would slide against mine and I would sigh, with a certain urgency filling the room. As the kiss deepened, I felt his hips gyrate sensuously against mine.
