The two of them sat on the bench and talked, he listened as she told him all that she could about her life from the day that he was forced out of Dalkey until now. And even though five years had passed it seemed like yesterday that they two of them had last been together on the shores of Dalkey. It seemed as though things were falling back into place for the two of them, but it was almost forced. Alannah wanted to be cautious with her feelings, she had met some shady men in her past, and she certainly didn't want to settle. After all God had a plan for her life, of that she was certain.

After sitting there and talking for well over an hour, Alannah noticed that the sun had started it's downward decent. She was getting hungry and she realized, looking back in the direction of the Chateau that no one was coming for them, maybe no one even realized that they were there. How could anyone realize that they were there? No one knew they were coming, after all it's not like they were expected, right? Hadn't Alannah expected to go to an island where she could disappear? They sighed in unison smiled at each other, stood up and picked up their baggae and headed toward the Chateau. Hand in hand the pair walked to the beautiful Chateau in hopes of finding new life and maybe new love in a tropical paradise.

The day had turned out to be a very pleasing day, what with finally reuniting with Alannah, and now arriving here on this beautiful peacful land, Nicolò couldn't be happier. But his thoughts turned back to what Eraldo had said t him right before they left on that horrible plane ride. What is he going to do? Had Eraldo already contacted Alannah's Father? What would he do if anything were to happen to Alannah?

As they continued walking toward the Chateau Nicolò, had to bring his thoughts back to the conversation, as Alannah as to ask him a few times where his thoughts were. So they talked about their future and what they hoped they would find. When they finally reached the front doors, they discovered that the door was bare of either a door bell or a knocker. The front door was at least 7 feet tall, it had glass panelling all around it, in each panel was part of the tree itself. with two double doors made of a had a very intricate design carved into them , the wood itself seemed to be made of black oak and the design was that of a tree. The tree grew out of the bottom left corner of the left door, and the branches extended elegently to the right door. Above the doors was a beautiful shiny plaque, upon the words Chateau Lumiere or Chateau of Light as translated from French. Looking at the front doors it was easy to see that these people embraced the true beauty of the island they lived on. Alannah and Nicolò tried knocking on the massive wooden doors, but the doors proved to be so thick and dense that it absorbed all their attempts to make their presence known. With a sigh, she was just about to leave her carpetbag when a nagging feeling hit her in the pit of her stomach. She decided to check her money pouch only to find it empty
