"Hello Alannah," Rosemary said, after her passionate session with Eraldo, then talking to her brother who was standing behind her, "remove gag and then leave us," Rosemary said with a sinister smile.
As Eraldo removed her gag he softly caressed her cheek and whispered in her ear. The words he whispered made Alannah shiver and turn her head away from him. She then found herself alone in the room with Rosemary, Alannah was was terrified whe knew from the beginning that something was off about Rosemary but she could have never guessed this. Alannah's body hurt everywhere especially her stomach, she was tired, hungry and thirsty; her head was pounding from hitting the ground earlier in the day and then just moments ago here in the shack. Alannah was certainly in no condition for any kind of confrontation with Rosemary or anyone else.
"What's the matter Alannah? Cat got your tongue? I'm hurt that you don't want to talk to me." Rosemary said, sarcastically
Alannah continued to say nothing, but she watched as Rosemary stood from her chair and slowly put on a pair of leather gloves. Alannah noticed that Rosemary was wearing riding clothes and boots.
"You should have taken my advice, Alannah" Rosemary said in a cold and calculated tone as she moved closer to her, "Just think if you only would have listened to me you wouldn't be here right now, and you would be safe from your father. Oh, and of course you from me as well." She sat in a flat tone of voice, that seemed to be laced with distane. Rosemary's movements towards Alannah were as slithery as a snake as she moved closer. When she got up right next to the chair Rosemary struck Alannah hard across the face with the back of her hand. The force of the blow whipped Alannah's head violently to one side, the next blow came to the other side of the face. "You have no idea how long I have wanted to do that. Ruin that pretty little face of yours, too bad I couldn't do that before you said 'I do.'" Alannah looked directly at Rosemary and spit at her feet. Alannah's show of bravado came at a price, but Alannah did not show fear even though inside she was terrified.
Rosemary squinted her eyes at Alannah, she was furious that Alannah would do something like that. Instead of going to far in the punishments, Rosemary decided to sit back down and make Alannah sweat it out so she sat down in the chair across from Alannah and stared at her for a good long time. As time passed by in dead silence Eraldo came back in carrying two plates with food piled high on each one, reminding Alannah just how hungry she was. Eraldo sat down at the table next to Rosemary, and then she turned her chair around to join him. They started talking, laughing and eating their meal all the while Alannah sat there tied to the chair like the white elephant in the room everyone else had forgotten. After they had finished their meals, Eraldo walked over to her and gave her a roll with some meat inside. He untied one hand so that she could eat it and he stayed there while she ate it. When she was finished he gave her a drink of water and tied her up again. Eraldo left the room and once again Rosemary and Alannah were left alone,. Rosemary turned her chari to face Alannah once more and after a long pause she leaned forward and said, "What on Earth should I do with you? Did you know that the men who took you were going to take you to your father? See your father put a rather large bounty on your head, and those men wanted to collect that money. I couldn't allow them to do that, if they had that wouldn't have taken you out of the picture, not completley."
