Alannah felt herself nod in acknowledgement before she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and saw Maria standing over her, Jakob immediately at Marias side whispered in her ear. Jakob picked her up and told Maria to lead the way. Maria led Jakob up the stairs to Alannah's room, There Jakob laid his sister on her bed, and sat in the chair, as soon as she was laid down she was sound asleep.
