Esmae's POV
"Jake, what are you doing here?" I asked.
I was shocked and...scared.
I haven't seen him for three years.
Jake was about to answer when Derek interrupted.
"Wait, I thought your name was Alex?!? And how do you know Esmae?!?"
Jake started to walk over to us.
Stopped in front of us.
"I apologize for my cruelty in lying but, you never would of let me in If you knew who I was." Jake said with a evil smirk on his face.
Derek looked at his mother.
"Mother, please go upstairs." Derek says.
"But, Derek I-"
"Now, please."
His mother looked at me.
I smiled at her.
she nodded and left.
Derek turned back his attention to Jake as I clung onto his arm.
"Derek, why did you let him in?" I asked my voice shaking a little in fear.
"He said his car broke down, a little ways up the road and his phone died." He replied.
Jake pulled out his phone and started to text someone.
Just then my phone went off.

"Well, my phone works."
