After revewing the crime scene photos one photo revealved it was a lamp that was thrown into the tub electrocuting the man in the tub.It was placed in the evidence room with a number on it. The lab wasn't able to get any prints off of it. One of the homicide detectives also found a black glove at the scene. The match to it was nowhere to be found. It was a glove you could buy at any store in town. Kim invited Mac and the sheriff to dinner that evening and informed them about her findings. Mac became very worried about her and made her promise to be extremely careful in her investigation.
The sheriff hadn't posted their names on the active squard list and decided not to for awhile making it look like they were still investigating cold cases which wasn't too far from the truth That way if anyone saw Kim go into the cold case file room it wouldn't raise a red flag. and give Kim awy to the wrong officer. the next day Kim did a throughal search of the cold case file room and knew that file had not been misplaced. Her gut feeling told her the murderer was an officer. She knew the only people she could trust was Mac and Sheriff Johnson
