"Who are all these people?" craning my neck, left to right recognizing no one.

"Most people present are soldiers who work for Tore, my father."

I want to move towards him and close in the gap, but I still can't move.

Darryl pulls me close. "Please don't leave my side. I should have never bought you here."

"I...Oh." I mumbled, unsure what to say.

Then he leaned in closer and my brain hitched at his proximity. "I can't wait for us to be alone."

His eyes crinkled in a smile and he opens his mouth to speak when someone calls his name.

"Darryl." Her Italian accent was as thick as her unnatural red hair.

"Who is this beauty in your arm?"

She looks stunning, a runway model and at that moment I was even more grateful for the dress he had given to me.

"Rose maria, Adela-my girlfriend. Adela, Rose Maria my sister." moving his hand back and forth.

I shoot him a quick glance. A smile plastered on my face.

"Was she the one walking around topless on the twentieth floor."

I swallowed hard. Kicking myself for allowing myself to do something so degrading.

Silence

But he doesn't need to use words. For she already knew the answer.

"If you are hoping that it would get you off. You are wrong. You owe a debt of gratitude to our father and he intends to cash in. In full."
