"Is it all true? What I see on the news, read in the papers about you."

He nodded, looking up. "I prefer to guide the next generation in the right direction rather than putting a gun in their hands or fucking them over in court, but I could be a monster if I wanted to and I protect what is mine and you belong to me."

I am so stunned, it takes a second for me to realize that the car has stopped

"Stay here. I don't want you walking around town looking like that." Opening the door, leaving me with the driver.

I hit the privacy glass as soon as I lost the sight of him.

"Hi" poking him on the shoulder, just to gain his attention. He doesn't budge. He doesn't look around.

Silence

I immediately sense that he doesn't want to speak to me. I leaned back against the seat, before trying again.

"What's your name?"

"Patrick"

I'm so stunned that he even told me that. That it takes a second to think of what to ask next.

"Where you from?" I asked

Silence

It was worth a try.

"For someone who is not his girlfriend just his pet, his toy. You ask a lot of questions. My advice to you is mind your own business." turning on the radio.
