He was wearing a jeans and a soft green skin fitting t shirt. He easily drew the attention of everyone in the lobby.

Perhaps mom was right. Darryl was out of my league.

"One minute remaining." as I drew closer.

His menacing gaze ran over me slowly. Inch by inch. "You could have at least changed."

I swallowed, feeling ashamed. Hoping no one overheard.

"And I hope you didn't wear any panties?" taking me by the elbow, guiding me through the revolving door. A sleek, black Bentley lay idle in front the building.

"Mr Stone" an ageable man greeted, opening the door for us.

"Good evening." forcing a smile that could split my face in two.

Can a prosecuting lawyer really afford one of these?

Darryl slide in after me. His hand on my lap.

"To the Renaissance." he says politely as the chauffeur gets in behind the wheel. Hitting the button, he sends the privacy glass up, separating us from the driver.

"How did it go with your mom?"
