Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. I am screaming repeatedly in my mind. I am such a fool. His frown lines clear as he searches my eyes for something.

Forgiveness

Understanding

I push him away, scooping up my dress from the floor. The hazel eye blonde goddess is eyeing me scornfully.

"You could have at least done better than this."

I shake my head running past her. I would have closed my eyes but I needed to see where I am going.

I here him call out. "Don't run."

But I am off crashing through the double doors naked, dressed only in my heels. Past the foyer, down the stairs. I am in a complete daze. I don't know I managed to reach my apartment on the eighth floor.

I am so disappointed in myself. But what is done is done. It will never happen again.

Reaching the front door I realized that I forgot my purse. No way was I going back up there. No way was I going to continue living here.

I have been cheated on, on numerous occasions in my relationships. Delibrate over them, over a few beers. Wondering what they had, that I didn't. But never once did I cheat.

Turning the doorknob, I was relieved to find it open. I had forgotten to lock it on my way out. Jamie and Trey were not here as yet, so I would have a few hours to gather myself, cry a little.
