Exquisite pieces of artwork graced his walls. His home just as beautiful as the man, staring up at the high ceilings and prewer architecture.

"I am thinking about purchasing it. I need a home while I am in the city. Do you like it?"

"It's amazing."

"Come" opening the double doors.

Carrying me deeper into his penthouse, each room lavishly furnished in rich, deep colors of purple and gold. Heavy, thick curtains complemented the thick, bouncy carpet.

Darryl leaves me for a moment disappearing in the kitchen, only to return with a bottle of wine.

"Chateau Margaux, is okay with you?" popping open the cork.

I know nothing about wine or men, but I do know about getting drunk and the consequences behind it.

"Sure, that will be fine."

The wine will help steady my heart and my nerves.

"Here" handing me a glass. I took a respectable sip, walking away to view his paintings, each piece worth millions.

"Who is your favorite painter?"

"Pablo Picasso and Vincent Van Gogh. Are you hungry. I could whip you up something."

"No thanks" finishing my drink.

I want to run, but my legs are frozen. Darryl looks like he wants to devour me. To my right, an imposing U-shaped sofa beckoned for me to wander over and take a seat, but I remained standing.
