"Sit"

I opened my mouth to protest, I opened to scream, but nothing, taking a seat at the edge of my bed. My hands flexing restlessly on my lap.

What was he doing here? In my house.

He walks over to my dresser, opening the drawers removing nothing.

"I have always wondered what your room would look like."

Trailing fingers over my novels lined on the bookshelf and my typewriter. Next to it a photograph of my parents and another of Jamie and Ashley.

"Everything is so organized."

"Why are you here?" my stomach quivering from both fear and need, but mostly need. A flush of unwanted heat smacking me between my legs.

Jamie's groaning heightened the effect, thickening the air between us, leaving me giddy. The number 56 tattooed amongst the bones and fluttering black birds on his right arm.

"I am here because you are taking too long to answer me."

"The night is not over." I snapped

He shot me a hard look and I blush pink.

"No, Adela. The night has just begun for both of us." stepping closer and I nervously fingered a strand of my hair. I opened my mouth, then I closed it again, unsure what to say.

"May I have a seat?" his green eyes alighted with humor. I nodded, still unable to speak. Glancing around for an escape route, there was only the door.
