"I don't know."

He chuckled "I would just have to find out." pressing the number nineteen, the elevator going up instead of down.

"I....I thought you were taking me to lunch." I stammered, the ride ending in seconds.

"I am" he confirms "But the privacy may be needed as we may want to explore our feelings towards each other."

I stepped forward, his hand rested firmly on the small of my back steering me out, the doors closing behind us. The sensation of his touch sends ripples to my core.

"I am not in the mood, we barely know each other." I say nervously moving away.

"I could get you in the mood and on the matter of not knowing each other, we have been chatting online for the past eight months. Eight months is quite long, there is no need to waste anymore time." His hand comes towards me, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

"What I really wanted to say was I am not interested." brushing away his hand.

"No more lies Adela. Haven't you lied enough already."

"It's not a lie. What if I am not attracted to you. You may have plenty of women who would fall at your feet jumping at the chance to be in your bed, but I am just not one of them." biting my bottom lip, cursing Jamie inwardly.
