Sandra was still a little upset at him for springing this on her but she couldn't help but to feel warmth from him and his good intentions. She couldn't help but to smile back at him saying. "Ya, it's a good thing."

"Would you like a drink?" Dave asked standing up in front of her now.

"A glass of wine would be nice right about now. I have something in my purse for the pain if you don't mind fetching my purse from the car."

"Are you sure you want a glass of wine? Maybe a coffee or tea or something other than alcohol? The alcohol will make you bleed more." He said.

Maybe he wasn't trying to take advantage of her. Maybe he just wanted to enjoy the day and make it special. As far as she has ever heard most men would try and get you drunk when they had you alone in a house or stranded somewhere. This was too good to be true. For some reason, he was warming up to her again and she was forgetting that she was upset with him and wanted to go home.

"A coffee would be great. Thank you but I do still need something for this pain." She said smiling now trying to hide the pain to which he already knew existed.
