“Would you like to hear some music? I have a mixed cd in the player?” He finally said.

“I would love to, I love music. All kinds accept the head banging kind.” Sandy said with a small laugh.

“I am the same way.” He said then hit play on the player.

A male voice sang a song she hadn’t heard before. “This is beautiful. I love it. Love the lyrics, the music and the voice. Who is this?”

“Not telling.” He said laughing.

“Awe come on. This guy is really good. Haven’t heard him before and I listen to a lot of music.”

“You wouldn’t hear this person.”

“Why not?”

“This is his own stuff, not yet a record. On its way to be a record but not quite there yet.”

“Come on tell me. It’s you isn’t it?” As she heard a little bit more and realized that the voice she was hearing was similar to his.

He grinned and said yes.

“Oh my. You didn’t tell me you sing.”

“I don’t tell a lot of people. My ex wife didn’t like my singing and didn’t like that it took a lot of my time away from the kids. I gave it up and took on my own business at home so that I can spend more time home with my kids. That didn’t last long though; she upped and left me anyway, taking the kids. I left doing what I love for the kids and I ended up doing it for nothing.”
