Dave showed up right on schedule. Opening the door her heart skipped a beat to see this handsome guy standing in front of her at her house. She couldn’t help but to smile.
“Would you like to come in for a minute while I grab my things?”
“I sure would.” He said as he stepped into the house.”
“Would you like a drink, wine?, I have red wine.”
“I would love to have a glass of wine with you, but, I have to drive, I won’t drink and drive.”
“Ok, I will be just a minute. Have a seat.” She said pointing to the chair in the foyer.
While getting ready she thought of something. He won’t drink and drive, how was he supposed to have the wine he said he was bringing to the beach if he has to drive back? She wanted to know the answer but didn't want to ask. She will have to wait and see. Maybe he just wanted to leave, the sooner they got there, the sooner the day will start at the beach.
