Page 62Each stroke of his tongue left her hotter and weaker. He eased his hands from her buttocks and smoothed his palms slowly up her back, pushing her more closely to his chest. Her aching breasts flattened against his chest.
She whimpered in frustration as he tightened his arms around her and lifted her high up to his chest. She drew her hands to his face and studied his face. She thrilled at the high ridge of cheek bone beneath her palms. She drew her hands across the scrape of a day’s growth of beard. He sank to his knees then to his back and drew her over him. She plunged her tongue deeply in his mouth. An ache and want spread though her chest.
“I want you.” He said.
She forced her eyes to open and saw the want he stated in his eyes, it was obvious they wanted each other so badly.
“I want you now, let’s go home. This is an open place.” He said again then frowned.
She hated postponing whatever was going on but she knew he was right. The place was too open. Disappointment rushed through her. Postponing only made things worse for them, it never eased the ache that twisted inside her. He shifted her off him then pushed himself to his feet.
