“So please help me not to punch your mother on the face the next time I see her. She is a sick woman Flora, no sane mother would ever do that.” He shook her back and forth. She nodded.
In her mind, she realized now that it was her parents’ issues not hers. She remembered the kid she was, how unbearably hurt she was. He stroke her back, his cheek next to hers. And she clung to him. She lifted her head up and at some point, he was crying. Huge and masculine man wiped tears from his eyes.
“I don’t want to see you cry.” She also started to cry. A man who cried for what she went through! A man who cared so much about her to cry in the first place? She show light, golden, bright light through his gesture.
Her warm wet lips found his, he kissed her back, pulled away and kissed her back. She knew he was fighting it. She should have pulled away to make it easier for him.
