"Jesus Christ!" Aurora cried as the driver fired the vehicle toward the lots exit with excessive force. "Ok I'm impressed…..slow the hell down a little will ya," she screamed over the roar of the engine as she was sucked into her seat with even a greater force than the 3 point racing safety belt could achieve. Within the power black car, the couple exited JFK and raced onto the Belt Parkway with New York City as their destination.

"I like to get there alive if you don't mind." Aurora said as the car propelled them, darting around other cars as though they were sitting still.

"So when did you get this monster anyway?" she asked gripping both hands on the safety straps trying to sound as though she was not a little frightful of her friend's manner of driving.

"A little over two months ago, I call it "Gods Nightmare."

"Oh how sweet," she said rolling her eyes.

"What do you call that crotch rocket of yours?"

"My Vibrator!" she said as the two busted out in laugher.

"It's good to hear you laugh again," he said turning to look her in the eye for only an instant before returning his attention upon the road ahead. His glance was fleeting but it brought a warm feeling to Aurora that gave the young woman a feeling of peace.

"It's good to see you again Stryker, it has been too long," she said as the two shared a smile before they both turned their full attention upon the highway before them. As "Gods Nightmare" commanded the road, they both sat without a word only watching the path ahead and enjoying the land locked flight as the roadway lines flew by at a rapid pace. At their current rate of speed and now soaring down The Brooklyn/ Queens Expressway, the crowning jewel of New York swiftly came into view. Manhattan herself, a massive testament to the human achievement was unlike anything else in the world. It was an island with millions of occupants living and working within the grand cityscape.

"Wow, I forgot just how pretty the skyline was," Aurora said as the skyscrapers of the great city drew her attention.

"Yeah, it is pretty over whelming I guess."

"You guess! We have nothing that damn big in Miami I can tell you that," She added pointing toward the Empire State Building.

"Hell you have nothing that large in all of the state of Florida for that matter," Stryker said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, the closest thing we have is the Southeast Financial Center in downtown Miami and that's only 64 stories high."
