"Please…..you southern people don't know what cold is. Sit your happy ass here in the dead of winter and find out what cold really is," Stryker said laughing as he kept up with her swift pace.

"So where is this car of yours Stryker? My feet are starting to hurt."

"Well… look at what you're wearing on them, those boots look older then you."

"Oh funny….where is the car?"

"Right over there," he said pointing to a cluster of vehicles in their path.

"Please don't tell me it's the green wagon over there? The one with the Snoopy decals on the window," she said with a smirk.

"Oh please!" he said with a grin. "Don't you know me better than that?" Stryker added as his keychain alarm gave away his most impressive ride.

"Oh My God!" she cried standing before her friend's car.

"Well like it?" he said laying his hand upon the slick lines of his brand new Corvette Stingray. The mirror like black finish appeared to almost glow under the sunlight rays highlighting the powerful machine like it was sent from Heaven itself. Every aspect of the beast was darkened from its windows to its rear taillights. Even the highly polished rims were a glossy black shine that could reflect the pavement beneath the low profile tires.

"I'm impressed Stryker, the Government must be paying awfully well these days," Aurora said adoring over the sports car.

"I do alright," he said with a smile.

"Just alright!" she said looking in the driver's side windshield upon the vehicles registration and spying on the cars year of make. "Stryker, this Mother Fucker is brand fucking new…..like new…..fucking new!" she added turning his way with a look of shock in her eyes.

"Like I said, I do alright. Come on let's get something to eat while we wait to see what the assignment is."

"Yeah well, you're paying!"

"Not a problem, get in."

As Aurora slid her way into the all black leather interior, she felt as though the soft dark leather seat was absorbing her into its folds. "Oh My God!" she said as her companion only laughed.

"Yeah, it's a little different than that damn crotch rocket of yours, ain't it?" Stryker said as he fired up his beast. The energy raging from the cars power plant was nothing less than intense. The furious rumble from under hood seemed as though it could launch the car into the cosmos.

"I take it this car's engine is not stock?" she questioned.

"Stock…..shit nothing under this hood is stock," he said as his female companion's eyes widened even more as he step forth on the gas powering the dark creature out of its holding pen like a Hellfire missile unleashed.
