The next day was the royal wedding . It was a small intimate ceremony with only close family and friends invited. The decoration was simple but elegant .

The mandap was purely built of flowers all roses and lilies at one side of the ballroom.

The royal priest of Rajgarh was to perform the wedding ceremonies .

The wedding procession comprised of the groom on an elephant and other baraatis in luxury cars .

Vikram was dressed in royal attire a golden sherwani with a red Pagdi looking extremely handsome and regal .

Mr Kunwarbir welcomed the baraatis with garlands and gifts . All the ladies were presented with diamond necklaces while gentlemen with gold bracelets .

On entering the venue Vikram’s eyes were searching for his bride but some rituals were to be performed before her arrival .

It took almost an hour for the pooja after which the bride arrived.

Shnaya entered in a beautiful rath decorated as a peacock . She had selected a light pink lehnga for the occasion . Her jewellary comprised of traditional kundan mangtikka with a matching necklace and earrings .

Her makeup was light and elegant giving her an ethereal appearance . The pink colour of the lehnga was emphasising her fair complexion .

Vikram was blown away by her elegance and beauty .

How could he ever have thought that Maya was more beautiful?. Maya was a made up doll while true beauty was Shnaya',s .

When she sat next to him his hands slowly traced her back and she shivered . He could see that she was affected equally by his presence .

All through the saat pheras he held her hand . She started crying after four pheras and it hurt him to see her crying . He wanted to hug her and ask her to stop crying .

He wanted to hold her in his arms assuring her that after today she would never have tears in her eyes even tears of joy were not permitted .

He then filled sindoor and tied the mangalsutra around her neck thus declaring to everyone that now she belonged to him alone .

After a sumptuous lunch the doli went to Taj Lake Palace where their wedding reception was to be held in the evening .
