Yousho looked surprised wondering why Kaori was so angry with him.

“What have I done to deserve this? Please tell me.”

Kaori’s father then intervened.

“Please give her a little time to find herself. She came here in anger and has not said why to any of us.”

Yousho then left the hut. He was perplexed by what he had just heard.

For several days, Kaori stayed in the hut of her parents. As this information spread through the village, a series of rumors crept into Hayshua.

Elder Meesi decided to intervene when the information reached him. He asked that Yousho and Kaori meet him at his hut.

“It is not my place to tell each of you what you are to do, however this lack of communication between the two of you is the talk of Hayshua,” said Elder Meesi.

“I am completely unaware of the reason for this,” Yousho said.

“You are unaware of many things my husband,” said Kaori.

“Why don’t you go ask your friend Nu about the time you spend with his wife?” Said Kaori.

“What you are speaking of,” said Yousho.

Somehow Kaori had begun to think that Yousho had been seeing Sumno. While this was not true, Kaori believed it to be true.

“Maybe I should leave the two of you here so that you can talk,” said Elder Meesi.
