In the meantime, a powerful military nation called the Reine Empire is planning an advance into Hayshua and surrounding cities to enslave the Hayshua community and occupy the entire area to continue their aggressive dominance. This king of Reine decides to capture Kaori while she is on her mercy mission. While in the city of Reine, several within the city including the king begin to experience the remarkable power that Kaori displays.
Unknown to anyone within Hayshua or Reine, another more technologically advanced and militarily powerful nation from across the sea is planning a takeover of Reine. This nation called Mayland has guns and cannons. These are weapons that Reine knows nothing of. The potential destruction of such a conflict involving Mayland and Reine is almost unthinkable.
With the help of the spiritual powers that she actually serves, Kaori proceeds toward a peaceful resolution of these conflicts while maintaining her position of leader of the Hayshua people. Somehow Kaori must save her marriage, stop the military advance of Reine into the Hayshua area, slow the spread of that horrible plague that is killing many, and resume the peaceful existence of the area surrounding Hayshua. This must all be done while Kaori carries her first child.
And just when things seemed to have slowed down, and old question is answered with pain and promise. Now Kaori must carefully deal with this matter.
