Once she was done, Adhira asked her,” So… Am I?”
“Congratulations dear. Yes, you are going to be mom.”
The doctor opened the door and instantly everyone rushed inside. Arya came and sat by her side clutching her hands. She had a proudness, happiness and drops of tears in her eyes.
He saw her and asked the doctor,” Is she alright?”
The doctor smiled and said,” Yes. She is alright also Congratulations. You both are going to be parents soon.”
Arya saw Adhira and asked in his eyes ‘IS IT SO DEAR?’ Adhira blushed and nodded him back. He kissed on her forehead and eyes and smiled at her. Everyone in home was very excited after hearing the news. Lakshmi rushed to kitchen and took a spoonful of sugar and fed them both.
The doctor then spoke up,” She is weak so please take care of her. Here are some prescribed medicines for her. Please make sure you get the tests done properly.”
Arya got the prescription and said,” We will take good care of her.”
He informed his mother,” Ma, I will leave doctor in clinic and get the medicines for her as well.”
He saw her and said in his eyes ‘I WILL BE BACK DARLING’ and went out.Adhira nodded her head and smiled briefly at him.
