"Yes, I understand now. I am glad to hear you say it. Now then, lets get ready to plan the wedding of the century." Greta hugged her close.

"I don't know what Michael wants as far as the wedding." Lisa admitted. They hadn't discussed what size of wedding or if they were going to do as he suggested earlier and run off to Las Vegas to elope.

"Michael will agree to whatever we decide. You'll learn, I have been married many years, and trust me, you are the one in charge. Your mother will tell you the same thing. You let them think it was all their idea, but you get what you want." Greta told her.

"Are you already trying to corrupt her? Wow, I thought that would at least wait till after the vows." Michael said, walking in. The site of him took Lisa's breath away. He was wearing a black suit that had been perfectly tailored to fit his body. A deep purple tie hung untied around his neck, waiting to be knotted for him. In the breast pocket was a matching handkerchief.

"You look dashingly handsome. Do you need a hand?" She asked walking over to him.

"I hate these things, I never can get them right." Lisa tied the knot and slid it up for him.

Michael put his hand in his pocket. "Your not ready yet." He told her. Something is missing. Oh I know what you need, maybe this." He pulled his hand out with a jewelry box inside. "Try this, we can have it sized" His hand shook momentarily as he opened the box to show her. It was an engagement ring. One small diamond in the middle of a ring of sapphires. It was a beautiful gold band.

"Oh, Michael, it is beautiful. Where did you get this?" Lisa said as she let Michael slip the ring on her finger.

"It was my mother's ring. I got it when I got out of foster care. I have been saving it for the woman I was going to marry. If you don't like it, I can get you a bigger stone." For the first time since they had met, Michael seemed to doubt himself.

"I think it is the most glorious thing I have ever been given. I love it." Lisa said, fighting back the tears. She jumped into his arms. "Thank you."

"Well, you know, I wanted to make it official. Now we better get out of here or we will be late." He said as he walked her to his car.
