"Well I perfer not to bring back the memory of my horrible day but there is no avoiding it." Sandra said again looking down at her foot thinking about Dave as she took yet another sip of wine.
Lynn watched her down her wine a little faster than she was and asked. "It can't be that bad could it? You seemed so happy Friday."
"It wasn't all that bad I guess. The only really bad part was what happened yesterday." Sandra said then stared off into space obviously thinking about it all.
"Start from the beginning, maybe it will help me understand a little bit more."
Sandra wasn't quite sure how far back was the beginning so she started from the drive out to the beach, from hearing his beautiful voice on the cd player to hearing him sing and play the guitar for her on the beach.
"Ok don't stop there, then what happened?" Lynn asked now intrigued and confused at why it was so bad.
"When we were walking along the beach hand in hand on the waters edge, I stepped on something sharp. It was bleeding badly so he had to carry me. Before I knew it he was carrying me to a beach house. I thought it belonged to someone he knew because according to him he had permission to park in their parking spot. He claims he wanted to surprise me with taking me there for a drink after wards but when I realized that he was drinking wine and he was driving it scared me that he had planned something more than just a day trip. He was planning a night over. I wanted to get out of there as quickly as I could. I thought he was perfect. I thought my curse with being with men and hurting them was finally over. It wasn't. I was really scared. Thoughts of what would happen to me if I stayed, is he going to hurt me? Rape me? Kill me? After all I just met the man personally and already he wanted to take me a couple of hours away from home to a beach house he neglected to tell me about." Sandra said taking the last sip of her wine.
