“Alivia, dii brit granddaughter. Drey you see what that? dii darling, you were Aan Angel Rider.” Grandma says. Her big bright eyes beaming down on me. I look at her and then around me. The last thing that I remember is falling to the ground. Now I am in my bed.
“Grandma, what did you just say?” I ask just catching on to what she said. (I don’t understand it. Not at all.) “I asked if you know that you were an Angel Rider?” She says.
“I have no clue what the hell just happened. But that was some voodoo crap, Grandma!” I say trying to get up. “Nid, nid Granddaughter. You are ni permitted wah get up out of bed. You need hin rest. Dreh ni complain.” She says.
“No, what are you saying. You aren’t speaking english. I have no idea what you are saying.” I tell her. Aunt Christi walks in and whispers in Grandma’s ear.
Grandma gets up and kisses my forehead and exits the room. I look over to my alarm clock, and see that it is nine o’clock in the morning.
I reach for my phone so I can call Dwayne. But then I remember I was suppose to go to school today so he and I could talk about the dance. I look at my notifications to see that he alone has called me, texted me, and every other what not. I unplug the charger from my phone and read everything that is there.
