I increased my driving speed past the speed limit, hoping I won't be stopped to collect a ticket. Fortunately, I reached the airport with no stopping by the police. I rushed out of the car and into the airport to the waiting area for the arrivals. Panting hard, I asked a lady beside me what the time says since I forgot my phone at home in the rush. "2:45" she replied. I signed in relief and thanked her.

2:45, i'm right on time. Alex's plane lands at exactly 2:45. I leaned on the railing to rest before Alex comes out. A while later, I felt my ear being pulled and I woke up.

"Wow, you fell asleep, typical Dawn." Alex said, amused.

"I was tired, okay?" I said defensively. She laughed and said, "mnmh I can see that. Let's go." I took one of her luggages and lead the way to the exit.

"Holy shit! This is the car?" Alex said when we had reached where I parked the car.

"Yup that's my ride." I answered smugly.

"Aww, I love it. Open it and let me feel the inside!" she gushed. I chuckled and pressed the car button to open it and went to put her luggages in the car trunk. I got in and started the ignition, "No, I wanna drive it home."
