"You're laughing? I've been worried for the past 10hours unable to reach you and you find it funny?" he asked, anger lacing his voice.

"I- i'm sorry, it's just- you-re, you're acting as if people are after my life." I said, laughing.

He scoffed," I will never waste my time on you again."

I laughed at that and replied, "You're such a drama queen,"

"Whatever," he answered. I'm sure by now he would be glaring at his phone, wishing it was me.

"So why were you trying to call me?" I asked.

"There's a party a friend of mine will be throwing tonight. I need you to accompany me there."

"The person you're trying to reach is not available at the moment, try again never." I said in a monotone.

"You're going with me and that's final," he deadpanned.

"Hey! You don't know if my schedule is full for tonight and you're ordering me to go." I protested.

"Fine i'm sorry, please go with me, hm?" he pleaded like a child begging her mom to buy her favourite chocolate.

"Fine, i'll go with you." I grumbled. He cheered, "yes! Where are you?"

"On my way back home from work. I'm walking" I replied.
