The Exposure

At the moment, she would agree to almost anything if he would keep touching her.

   “But for now . . .”

He didn’t say anything else; he simply pulled her to the edge of the counter, spread her legs wide, and entered her with one hard thrust. The feeling of being possessed was made all the more intense by not being able to see. It had been far too long since she had been with a Dom who knew what he was doing as well as Luke did.

He alternated his movements between hard and deep, and slow and shallow. In doing so, he hit parts of her she didn’t know she had. And the spots were very, very happy he found them.

“Holy shit, yes,” she muttered when he hit a particularly sensitive area.

He redoubled his efforts, until his pounding was almost punishing. And still she wanted more. She didn’t think she would ever get enough of him, and though that made her slightly worried, she wasn’t going to think about that at the moment.

He slipped a hand between them, to circle her clit. It took only two swipes of his fingers across the sensitive area for her to come completely undone. She screamed her release as he gave one last hard thrust and gave in to his own.

He reached up and undid the blindfold. He ran his hands up her body, pulling her down off the countertop until she was standing and pressed against him.

“How is it possible for you to keep taking my breath away?” he whispered, and pressed his lips against hers in what began as a soft kiss, but grew in intensity until they were both panting for more.

“I don’t know,” she said. “But you do the same to me.”

   “Your kitchen is a mess.”

“I don’t care,” she said in between kisses.

   “Shower?”

“Yes, someone got me all sticky.”

“I didn’t hear any complaints.” He bent his head and licked her nipple. “Mmm, caramel’s my favorite.”

“Next time I put the caramel all over you.”

He chuckled. “We’ll have to see about that. Which way to the bathroom?”

She held out her hand. “Come with me.”

She had never been more thankful of her tendency to stress-clean than she was when she led Luke into the bathroom. How embarrassing it would have been had the bathroom been dirty. Fortunately, both the bathroom and the kitchen had been well cleaned before his arrival.

“Nice place.” Luke looked around the bathroom as they stepped inside.

She loved her bathroom. Bigger than what you could normally find in the city, she’d had the space redone to include a large shower and double vanities. She modeled it after a spa, with the thoughts that it would be comforting after a long day’s work. Truthfully, she never thought about inviting a man into it.

Ever the Dom, Luke made himself right at home, turning on the water, and taking two towels from the towel rack to place on nearby hooks.

He peeked inside her shower. “I bet you only have girly soap, don’t you?”

“The alternative would suggest I make it a common occurrence to have men in my shower.”

She didn’t miss the flash of jealousy that was apparent in his eyes for just a brief second.

“When you put it that way.” He shrugged.

“Kind of makes you like girly soap, doesn’t it?”

“I’ll never have been happier to smell like a rose,” he said with a grin.

She dug through her cabinet drawers until she found a neutral scent she’d picked up at a hotel. “Lucky for you, I’m all out of rose.”

   “Bless you.”

“I have to admit, I’m not overly fond of my man smelling like a rose.”

His grin grew larger. “Your man?”

Did she say that? Was he upset? He didn’t look upset, but on some men it was hard to tell.

“I, uh, mean, you know. Is that what I said?”

No, he didn’t look upset at all. In fact, he looked the exact opposite of upset. He started walking toward her and his movements reminded her of a tiger she once saw in the zoo: confident with a hint of cocky. The corner of his mouth lifted up. “Oh yes. You definitely said it.”

With one quick move, he captured her in his arms. “You said your man.”

It was on the tip of her tongue to deny it, but before she could, he covered her mouth with his. “Turns me on so much to hear you say that,” he said when he broke the kiss for air. “To think of you as my woman.”

Just that quickly, all thoughts of soap, cleaning the apartment, and denying him anything flew out the window. And in that second, she wanted to be his woman, and even more so, his submissive.

In the back of her mind, there was the nagging voice telling her she couldn’t be his anything with The Taskmaster between them. But she refused to dwell on that while she was in Luke’s arms, kissing him, with his hands promising all sorts of sensual pleasure. She wanted to freeze time and stay in this moment forever, because surely nothing could beat naked Luke in her steamy bathroom.

He pulled away. “We’d better get in the shower if we don’t want to run out of hot water.”

   “Always so practical.”

“It’s more than being practical. It’s about keeping you naked and wet as long as possible.”

“I see. So it’s really you just being perverted?”

   “I assume that’s a rhetorical question.”

She laughed, enjoying the easy banter between them, and decided for the rest of the night she wasn’t going to spend one second thinking about The Taskmaster. At the moment, there was only space for Luke in her thoughts.

And right now he was stepping into her shower and his ass looked so fine. . . .
