The week after Victoria started being home schooled she sent her grandma her very first test score. Of course she got an A plus on the test. She was involved in a horse club in her community. The rancher that was the head of the horse club gave her a little lock box at this stable. She put her cell phone there. Every Saturday when she was allowed to be there by herself she would make sure she was alone and would call her grandparents.

During one of the calls grandma Karen told her she had written to her and had mailed it on Thursday that Great Grandpa Henry had past away from cancer. Him and grandma was staying there to take care of all of her babies. She told her that Stormy was has big as his momma and they were doing alright. Ginger Boy was letting one of the boys at her old school ride him after he bucked him off several times. Every time he threw him off it was in hay bales. Then he showed his tteeth and nay real loud as though he was laughing.

All of the dogs was doing well but Skippy was now staying downstairs. She took the phone to him and Victoria talked to him. He recognized her voice and started whimpering like if he was talking to her. Grandma sent her a picture over her cell phone of all of Victoria's babies, Every weekend while staying at the horse ranch she charged her phone's battery and would contact grandma and look at her babies.

Even though Skippy was getting up in years the vet found out that she had a tumor that he removed and she was feeling a lot better. The tumor was tested and came back non cancerous. Victoria smiled and told her grandmother that she was doing great in her school work. She did tell grandma Karen that she missed the only home she felt safe in. She told her that after she finished her courses for the year that her mother was sending her overseas to a prep school for young ladies. She asked her if her phone call would still reach her. Grandma reassured her that their calls would connect fine and if didn't do good to where they could hear each other at least they could email each other.

Grandma Karen told her little Victoria which wasn't little any more that she still had months before that would happen.and somehow they would see each other again. Thomas and Karen found out the horse ranch that Victoria was staying at on weekends was also taking reservations for people to stay in one of bunk houses that was turned into guest rooms. the only thing is you had to clean up after yourselves.
