Romancing a Stalker

Page 12

It didn't take long before this psychopath killer found just the right lady he was looking for. She was a divorcee who innocently used her real name Donna. Using one's real name is definitely a no-no when it comes to chat rooms. Donna's profile stated she was divorced and lived alone. It also said she was not looking for any permanent relationship, but merely wanted friendship and to chat.

This time William would kill for the pleasure he seemed to enjoy by taking someone's life. He had money he took from Stardust plus the money he got from the man he murdered in Detroit. William entered the room one night and introduced him self to the other chatters. By now he had changed his nickname. I will not disclose his nickname for the time being, but instead give you a chance to try and identify him. He was polite and told them he was new to chat and if he made any mistakes to please forgive him. When you have chatted for any length of time you tend to see a certain mannerism different ones use when they talk online. It may be a certain word one might use a lot or a phrase they say, but usually there is something that causes a person to stand out. There was a pattern in his style of talking that caused Teacup to become suspicious.

"Did you have another nickname before this one?" Teacup asked him.

"No I haven't. This is my first time to chat and I'm kind of nervous," he sheepishly replied.

Teacup did not pursue the matter any further, but Sheneda also felt he was not a new comer to chat either.

"You sound like someone else, but I'm not quite sure just who," Sheneda said.

This chatter sounded a lot like Dream Lover to Teacup, but there was no way she could be positive. It gave her goose bumps to even think about it. She decided to keep an eye on him and his actions and when he left the chat room she advised the other chatters to do the same. Maybe these two ladies were mistaken, but still something just didn't seem right where this chatter was concerned.

"Let's not forget what happened to Stardust," Teacup cautioned again.

"Stardust was a great friend and I really miss her," Buckeyegem added.

Some of the chat room servers would post warnings across the screens and asked that anyone acting in a suspicious manner be reported to them immediately. This request was made on behalf of the FBI and Scotland Yard.
