Seeing Zhang Zian leave, Fen Xuan thought they just disagreed on shooting methods, but Zhang Zian said, "Sorry, Director Feng. I need to think about it."

"Sure. The electrified wire net is still under construction and the shooting will happen later. Please feel free to tell us if you have any suggestions." Feng Xuan said, feeling relaxed.

Zhang Zian thought about it and asked, "Can we use CGI in this scene? It's really popular right now."

"That would be difficult," Feng Xuan shook his head, "We have a limited budget and can't do CGI. It wouldn't just be making one Tibetan Mastiff, but a group of them. Even though we have enough money, our skills are not qualified enough, so we'll be laughed at by the audience. If they make fun of us, what we are doing becomes meaningless."

Feng Xuan had a point. Zhang Zian thought about the CGI scenes he'd seen in movies. Even though it cost a lot, the monsters still looked fake and lame, like in City C. It couldn't even compare to Jurassic Park, which was made 20 years ago.

The scene with giant Tibetan Mastiffs running around would take more than 20 years to CGI as it was really hard to make their hair look real.

Xu Gang's phone rang. While he answered it, Zhang Zian took the opportunity to leave when Xu Gang called him, "Wait a second! These Tibetan Mastiffs are already here, let's look at them together."

Zhang Zian was interested. He only saw Tibetan Mastiffs on TV or in pictures, never one in the flesh, so he seized this opportunity and left the conference room with Fen Xuan and Xu Gang.

Cars were honking.

Several trunks made their way to the shooting area. The trunks stopped in front of the blank cages outside the wire netting. The staff pushed out 20 smaller steel cages out of the trunks. There was one adult Tibetan Mastiff locked in each cage.

When they pulled out the last cage, Zhang Zian's eyes widened as he noticed one of the Tibetan Mastiffs inside the cage was the King Tibetan Mastiff, the leader in the video.

Zhang Zian could feel its intimidating aura even though he was a few meters away. It looked like a male lion and was shaped like a massive bear. Its shoulders were half as tall as a grown-up man and its weight seemed to be over 100 kg.

This Tibetan Mastiff yawned and stretched while it shook its hair. You could practically feel its wildness. It looked at the crowd indifferently with its slightly red eyes.

Even though it was locked in a strong steel cage, Zhang Zian was so scared that he shuddered and felt as though he had been shocked from his tailbone to his neck. Every cell inside his body was screaming for help, warning him to get away from this wild animal.

It was not just him, some people had turned pale and some unconsciously took a step back.

Compared to this King Tibetan Mastiff, Famous looked like a baby. The King Tibetan Mastiff only glanced at Famous for a second before turning its head. It was not interested in the little dog because it looked like it could be crushed to dust within seconds.

Maybe it was the wolf gene in it, or the responsibility it had, but Famous didn't take a step back, it just calmly looked at the giant animal.

The 10 German shepherds stood not far away from the cages. They seemed to smell the danger and started barking together, especially Big Teeth, the biggest and strongest one among them. It shouted and bit the steel cage, looking ready for a fight.

The 20 Tibetan Mastiffs were all motivated to start fighting and barked back. They were much louder than the German Shepherds and their members outnumbered. Suddenly, this place was full of earsplitting barks.

Woof!

The King Tibetan Mastiff was annoyed by the barking, so it picked its head up and barked.

The sound made all the dogs quiet. Big Teeth was still barking but it was obviously quieter than before and only to save face.

Zhang Zian was the one who stood closest to the King Tibetan Mastiff. His ears were tingling, like they were still barking in his ears.

The young girls in the crew were so scared that they cried.

Famous shuttered a bit, then stood up back.

Xu Gang sighed, walking over to them as he said, "These Tibetan Mastiffs were delivered from the Zang area and fed normal dog food, hoping to help with their wildness, but it seemed it didn't work at all."

"It worked to some extent."

Old Yang didn't talk much, but every time he did, it raised people's interest.

"Oh? What do you mean?" Xu Gang asked.

Old Yang looked at the massive Tibetan Mastiff and frowned, "You know how I could tell the beasts were Tibetan Mastiffs?"

"I have no idea. I thought you got it right by accident." Feng Xuan asked curiously, "Didn't you?"

"I'm not that lucky. I knew it because…" Old Yang looked at the sky and tried to remember. "A few years ago, all the police dog training bases over the nation tried to use another kind of dog to replace German Shepherds as a solution to the degeneration. Some bases let German Shepherds mate with wolves, while some bases imported Chinese Kunming dogs. Our base came up with a trick, to introduce some baby Tibetan Mastiffs to the base. It was experimental. The top asked a group of trainers to raise them, to see if they could qualify to be police dogs."

"Then what happened?" they asked.

Old Yang shrugged his shoulders. "Of course, it didn't work. Tibetan Mastiffs lived in plateau for so long they didn't have enemies. They are stupid and don't care about what is happening around them. They couldn't learn because they were so ferocious. The top gave up after the first try and went back to importing German Shepherds from Germany."

"They gave up?" Zhang Zian focused on this word, "Gave up, what do you mean gave up?"

"It means they were killed," Old Yang said. "Not only did they kill them, they dissected the dead bodies in hopes of getting some information on how they were different from other dogs."

"So, what's the difference?" Zhang Zian asked again.

Old Yang replied, "I overheard, so I can't be sure that the information is correct. Their lungs are bigger than normal dogs and that's why they are able to run in the plateau. However, when they came here, their lungs became a burden because it affected their energy and endurance."

Oh. Zhang Zian nodded. Now, the saying "tigers have dogs beat when they are in the plain" made sense. Although these Tibetan Mastiffs were kings in the plateau, their skills were limited when they come to plain ground. Either way, they were difficult to deal with.

Old Yang sighed, "German Shepherds are excellent dogs and they are not afraid of gunshots, but they were silent after hearing King Tibetan Mastiff bark. You can tell the King Tibetan Mastiff really is something. Zhang, you have to think about it before you make a decision."

Zhang Zian didn't think it was him who needed to think about it, it was Famous.

Famous stared seriously at the King Tibetan Mastiff. Even though that ear splitting sound shocked it, it didn't back off. It was thinking very hard about what could it do to beat this horrible beast.

It saw the complete video and got an idea of how brutal this King Tibetan Mastiff could be. If Famous was bit, it could hardly get away. To be honest, Famous knew it might have chance if it got away from the teeth, but running away and hiding was not a solution. If the King Tibetan Mastiff let it go and ran to Red Dragon, Prince or the any of the other German shepherds, could they get away? Or would they fight back?

The most important thing to remember was that the King Tibetan Mastiff was not the only enemy, there were another 19 Tibetan Mastiffs watching them. Once one German Shepherd fell, they would all be doomed to death.

"Actually, I've got an idea. It may ensure the German Shepherds' safety, to some degree." Old Yang said to them.

Zhang Zian was delighted. "Master Yang, what is it? Tell us!"

Old Yang nodded seriously, "It is simple. Basically, you have to shoot the horse first before you shoot the man. Capture the ringleader first in order to capture all of its followers! If you get this King Tibetan Mastiff under control, the rest will be easy to deal with."

Zhang Zian was concentrating so hard before, that he forgot how to think. Now, after the Old Yang's hint, he came to realize a solution.

The Tibetan Mastiffs, even the wildest and the most vicious one, are still dogs. As long as it is a dog, there would be a hierarchy in the dog pack.

If there was a wolf king in the wolfpack, a dog king in the dog pack, surely there will be a Tibetan Mastiff King in the Tibetan Mastiff pack.

Thinking about it this way, the presence of the King Tibetan Mastiff was a good thing. If the Tibetan Mastiffs were solitary, it would give them more trouble.

As long as they beat the King Tibetan Mastiff, or replace it, the other Tibetan Mastiffs would not be a problem.

"Old Yang, how can we deal with the King Tibetan Mastiff? Do you have any ideas?" Zhang Zian asked anxiously. Famous was also listening.

This King Tibetan Mastiff was too ferocious. Old Yang had some ideas, but he wasn't sure if they would work.

He raised his arm, pointed at Big Teeth and said, "Big Teeth is the strongest of the German Shepherds. I guess we could give it a shot and let it fight the King Tibetan Mastiff, but the chances of it winning are small. They are not equals, the King Tibetan Mastiff's hair is so thick, one bite may not even hurt its skin."

It was the only solution they could think of.
