At that moment Elder Meesi left the hut.
“Kaori, please understand that I spend no time with Sumno. Let me know where you got such an idea. You are the wife that I love dearly and am committed to.”
Kaori then began to rethink her information about the matter. She was able to recall why she thought Yousho was seeing Sumno. Yet, at this moment she could also see that the information might be unsupported.
A little embarrassed and desirous of her husband, Kaori began to soften.
Looking into the eyes of Yousho, it became clear that Kaori began to soften. There was a moment of wordless thought. There was quiet.
“This is like a bad dream. I guess I am insecure due to my inability to see very far and wonder if I am seeing what I need to see. I am unsure of whether I am seeing a future or a past. Fear has arisen in me. What must I do?”
“Come home with me,” was Yousho’s statement.
The two then returned to their hut and after some talk, they began a passionate exchange of kisses and spent the rest of the day together.
