Kaori means “Light of day, Light of night.” She is considered to have abilities that bring light to any situation. It doesn’t matter what day or time of day it is. Light enlightens any situation. It is very desirable. Yet it is easily accessible. Kaori makes herself available to people joyously.

Kaori spent a portion of each day in prayer to the gods for she had a deep and abiding love for them. Most of her time in prayer was in the silence feeling her way into the heart of the gods for this just made her feel good. She also spent considerable time in her gratitude prayers just telling the gods how much she loved them and thanking the gods for her life. She never felt any ill will due to the lack of eyesight as she really enjoyed the other talents that the gods gifted her with.

Prior to taking over her position on the council, Kaori lived in a hut with her parents and kept the hut alive with scents that she burned. Her parents enjoyed the scents and encouraged her to continue burning the root combinations that she created. She also created medicines for her people from other plants and the people were very grateful. Kaori’s grandmother taught her some of the plant uses for medicinal purposes. However, Kaori had taken this talent and improved upon it through listening to the Gods.
