​ Samatha remember on December the tenth little Timmy being almost one year old a noise on the monitor. She assumed it was Tim that had went into the baby's room then it was silent again. Tim came up with some hot tea for Samatha since she was having a hard time getting over her summer cold. She asked Tim how the baby was. He said he went right to sleep at eight like he always had. She asked him if he had been in the tot's room not quite fifteen minutes before. Tim looked at Samatha like she had lost her mind.

The look on his face told her that he didn't know what she was talking about. Samatha jumped up and rushed into little Timmy's room. The window was open and little Timmy was missing. The Hamilitons called the police immediately. Two days later a ransom letter arrived. The police tried to tell them not to pay the two hundred thousand dollar ransom.Tim withdrew the two hundred thousand from their bank Samatha put the money in a carry on bag in a basket on the subway. She got off three stops later. Whoever was the kidnapper picked up the money and changed the money into a paperbag then put the paperbag into a shopping bag.
