Page 13Brandon volunteered to drive. With her gps on giving him instructions on how to get there was easy driving for him. She sat in the passenager seat with her eyes closed trying to act like she had no cares or worries in the world. She really thought scares in the world. She was thrilled to get home to safety. On her ride to the farm she decided that she wasn't returning to college for the fall semester. She would just stay in her hometown where she was safer.
A few dys later she saw the young man again but this time in her own home town. She hurried back to the farm. While carrying in the groceries the back screen door closed and she jumped plus spilt the groceries all over the floor. That night she kept hearing strange noises not in the house but by the barn. She woke up the next morning to police cars and other law enforcement officials sweeping the barn with some kind of equipment. The young man was laying in a pool of blood. He had been killed sometime that night.
Alexis was almost certain that Brandon had killed the young man but how could she tell on the man she had just fallen head over heels for.She just wanted to cover her head and cry. Instead she decided to go into town and talk to the sheriff. He had been her godfather ever since she was a baby. When a deputy wanted to question her she requested to speak to the sheriff. He arrived shortly after her request. They sat on the second floor balcony.
