"Michael, are you going to bed sometime tonight, or do you want me to just make you a pallet down here on the floor?" A woman said from the doorway. Lisa turned around and saw a beautiful woman standing there in a nightgown. She was tall, thin and just the type of woman Michael had been linked with in the press.

"Nag,nag, nag. Don't you have anything better to do?" Michael told her. Lisa was appalled that he would speak like that to his girlfriend who he had apparently abandoned when she had woke up.

"Yes, I do, anything is better than you. But Jason insists that I check on you. Hello, you must be Lisa. I am Greta, Jason's wife. You met Jason earlier." Greta held her hand out to Lisa.

"Oh yes, how nice to meet you. Michael has told me about you." Lisa said, feeling relieved.

"Don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. If you want the truth, come talk to me. I can give you all the dirty details and then some. Well, I am heading to bed Michael, so you better keep it down if you know what is good for you." Greta shook her finger at him.

"Yes ma'am" Michael said, giving her a salute.

"Finally, he is learning. I knew he would eventually." She turned and walked back up the stairs.

"So, what do you want to do now? Mom has told us to be quiet, and I don't want to get in trouble." Michael laughed. Suddenly, the lights flickered for a moment. "Well, it appears that we have lost power. Thank goodness for the generators." Michael said.

"You know something my family used to do? When the power would go out in the winter, we would go ahead and turn off the lights and toast marshmallows over the fire. I know it sounds corny, but we had fun doing it." Lisa said.

"Sounds great! Let me see if I have any marshmallows. You want to come in here with me. Maybe we can see what else is in the kitchen we can enjoy." Michael helped her to her feet and they walked to the kitchen.

In the large kitchen Michael pointed Melissa toward the pantry, telling her if she found something that seemed good, grab it. Michael headed for the fridge. The two of them searched and met at the island in the middle with their arms full of treats. They had not only the marshmallows, but also chocolate, graham crackers, hot cocoa, and whipped cream.
