Falling for My Boss
Page 23“If you have on any panties, of course.”
“Pig,” I said and turned around. I thought the no-panties idea was meant to take him by surprise. I thought he would be shocked that I’d come into work commando.
“I asked you. I didn’t think you would do it.” He came up behind me and I felt his hands sliding up over my shirt and cupping my breasts.
“What are you doing?” I said without moving. His hands were warm as his fingers pinched my nipples and cupped my breasts firmly in his palms.
“Seeing if you’re braless as well.”
“I’m not braless,” I said and I could feel my nipples getting hard from his touch.
“Pity.” He groaned, his breath warm next to my neck as he spoke.
“Scott,” I said as his right hand slid down my shirt and his fingers slowly pushed down into my skirt. “Scott!” I said louder as his hand made its way further down.
“Yes?” he said, as his fingers confirmed that I wasn’t wearing any panties.
“You can’t do that,” I moaned, though I was anxiously awaiting his next move. Was he going to slip his fingers between my legs?
“I already have,” he grunted, as one finger pressed against the inside of me firmly. I felt him moving it back and forth and it rubbed my wet bud slightly.
“Scott.” I groaned and grabbed his arm and pulled his hand out of my skirt. “What are you doing?” I pulled away from him and took a deep breath. I felt hot and bothered and I knew that I was absolutely not in control of this situation at all.
“What’s the deal?” I asked him suspiciously.
“I’m going to ask you one question.” He glanced at my heaving breasts and grinned. “And it’s a question you should know the answer to.”
“Okay…and?”
“If you get the answer right, I will play by your rules the rest of the day.” His eyes pierced mine. “However, if you get the answer wrong, you will play by my rules.”
“What are your rules?” I asked him, with narrowed eyes.
“You’ll see if I win.”
“Hmm.” I frowned. “I don’t know. If I should know the answer, why would you even think you have a shot?”
“Call it intuition.” He grinned.
“Fine,” I said, my hands on my hips. I’d win and then he would have to play by my rules. That would show him. Though, I have to admit a part of me was curious what he would do if I got the question wrong. What would he want? What would he have up his sleeve? My stomach curled just thinking about it. My legs were still tingling from his intimate touch against my body. I could feel a heat between my legs that told me that I very much wanted to know what he would want.“Okay, here goes.” He stepped back and grinned. “Here’s the question.”
“Come on.” I groaned. “Stop dragging it out. And don’t make it some crazy science or math question and say I should have learned it in high school.”
“What?” My face froze as I stared at him. My heart started beating fast and I could feel my stomach flipping. Shit! I didn’t know what he did.
“It’s a simple question.” He smiled. “And you do work here now, so one would assume you’d know the answer.”
“Well, duh, of course I know. What a stupid question,” I said, glaring at him in a haughty manner. “Now give me a serious question.”
“No, I think this is fine,” he said smugly. “What do I do for a living? I mean, it’s an easy question, Elizabeth. You’re my assistant. How could you not know?”
“I, uh, you’re the manager.”
“Manager of what?”
“Manager of me, duh.” I tossed my hair. “Now I win. And my rules are that you do not touch me in the office. It’s inappropriate.”
“Actually, no, you haven’t answered the question, so you don’t win, but before we get back to that, what do you mean I can’t touch you in the office? Can I touch you out of the office?”
“No,” I squeaked out loudly. “I mean, let’s just keep this relationship professional.”
“Even though we’ve already had sex?”
“It was once.” I licked my lips. “We can forget about that instance.”
“It was one occasion,” I said and took a step back.
“Well, it was two days technically. Seeing as we had sex in the night and the morning.”
“Scott!” I hissed.
“I’m just trying to be technically accurate. I can’t forget one instance when it was more than one instance.”
“Whatever.” I rolled my eyes, but all this talking about our multiple instances was reminding me of how good those instances were. And I didn’t want to think about that right now.
“True, it is a ‘whatever’ moment.” He grinned. “Because you lost and I won.”
“I did not lose.”
“What do I do?” His eyes bore into mine. “Tell me, what is my job? Or even what does our company do?”
