“Thanks Vivek. Please keep this as a secret between us. I think it is better for me to speak about this to my grand mom and then decide.”

“Okay fine. As you say. But I must say you both will be like a match made in heaven. So think wisely.”

Varun then headed to his home and saw his mom coming towards him. He asked her, “Mom, where is paatti?”

“She is in her room. Varun one minute sit here.”

Varun sat down on the sofa and saw what his mom was about to say to him to now after ruining the proposal. His mom spoke,” Varun, I saw the horoscope and it is a perfect match so I spoke to them but they didn’t respond back us. So I don’t have hopes that it may finalize hence I have sent you few other photos so choose from that and say me. Okay.”

He thought to himself,” Oh yes. Do you think someone will agree to marry me if you ask them whether their girl can sing or dance? You are still in old school mom.”

He replied her, “Mom, Please wait for 2 minutes. Let me speak to paatti and come” saying this he went to his grand mom room.

He had always consulted his grand mom whenever he was confused or depressed. His grandma is not like his mom. She may be from old generation but had modern thoughts. He saw her sitting in the rocking chair reading a book.
