Dantalion of the Goetia: The Summoning

"Look into the secrets of the mage… you will still find your demon brethren pay allegiance… are even willing to die for you… though there poses a deeper problem. The half-demon… there in your chamber as we speak, conspiring to shape-shift back to the girl… the same one you have sworn to protect and are willing to die for. You must let her go Dantalion… cut her free. Let the half-demon protect her … it is his curse now," the warrior angel explained.

Dantalion thought about how unfortunate it was for Rowan to be condemned as a demon in his attempt to save my life. Had he not been there at the Courtyard, he would still be mortal. Danatalion also knew how he and Rowan both loved me, and no matter what demonic curse came between us, we were bound to one another.

"No… they are loyal to me, and I to them. I won't condemn them to die!"

"We speak for the entire angelic hierarchy when we say we cannot interfere between the first and second heaven. If the Summoning of the Four Kings of Hell occurs, the Revelations will have begun… the end of days. The true war will then commence!" Gabriel's words rang through Dantalion's mind.

A cool North wind rustled leaves beneath Rowan's feet, razor sharp, like that of his hands, as he made his way toward the Realm of Goetia. The master sigil inscribed onto the stone could now only be opened by him, and he thought of powers that would become the new key to the Realm. Dantalion's ability to wield fire would only work for him. Alchemy would take some practice along with his other newly acquired powers. Rowan drew his claws across the seal on his forearm, new demon blood pouring down his arm and onto the sigil. The stone withdrew allowing him beyond the gate.

"My Lord, I see you discovered a new key," Levi greeted him at the main hall. "Remember, the Realm is divided into nine houses… yours is up ahead," pointing toward the archway of the first house.

"Yea, I remember Dantalion's copper sigil." I need you to summon the others. They're forcing Dantalion to sign the oath…The New Order…the Summoning of the Four Kings of Hell. They've already branded the girl."

"Belial is not within his chamber my Lord."

"I know… he meets with Satan, Lucifer and Leviathan at the ritual."

"I will call a meeting of the others in the Great Room within the hour."
