"Once we've got her in the medallion, then what?"

"There are a few things to remember. Once sealed, she can only be summoned by you and will only pay allegiance to you, who guards over her. She can easily restore her serpent form after attacks, and hence, must remain sealed. You can summon her forth as I have done, and must always keep the medallion on your body. She is still 'Succubus' and therefore, will shape shift to tempt you. She even changed Laurel into a serpent, so be warned, she will use your weaknesses. She sometimes wears the face of a beautiful woman, therefore, you must refrain, else she devour you. Lastly, she allows thee to feed upon her demon serpents, her children. You can summon them here or in the mortal realm, they too will seek to devour your own powers if not careful." Dantalion handed the medallion back to Rowan.

Dantalion ordered Gwynnedd to attack, her red eyes glowing with hatred. She raised her barbed tail injecting venom searing into Satan's heart. The poison moved through him slowly, holding him back momentarily from Dantalion.

"Find your way back through the caverns to the Courtyard. I will bargain for your salvation," Dantalion told Count Druitte, Rowan and his armies, lifting me up from the ground. He moved away from Satan and his demons, escaping the fires of the first heaven.

Once past the barrier, Dantalion came to the place he had found his armies, past the crystal rock formations, the air still thick with humidity. The mists rose from the underground hot springs inside the cave and he placed my body down on the ground. I could barely move, but felt his touch against me, his hair brushing onto my skin. He commanded a wave of healing powers washing over my bleeding body, scarred with blood.

"Do not fear death," his whisper faded into mist.

I did not feel pain subside, nor any sadness or emotion. I was a creation of Satan, a slave of the flesh. Dantalion could not heal my mortal soul as it has been tainted with evil. There was no love in my heart, only the emptiness of eternal damnation.

Dantalion fell to the ground, "Thy hath saved my life, and I could not save yours! Sworn to guard over and protect, now thy body and soul are Satan's empty creation. What hope is left? Thy should take our lives here and now, as we are and be done with it. It is the tenth day. If I cannot heal thee, we are condemned for certain." For hours it seemed, he lie beside me, in despair, his will to live diminished.
