Dantalion of the Goetia: Taste the Obsession of a Demon
Page 106"True, what the half-demon says, though now that we're here," his red eyes grew wide with hatred, his legions backing him on the brink of demon frenzy. The demons drew closer, showing their canines and becoming true to their demonic natures.
Rowan, and the newly mortal Druitte, Halphas, Vine, and Sitri, backed against the wall. The master sigil sunk inside the stone by itself, a glowing light emerging behind the opening of the massive gate. Several of Dantalion's followers of the dark arts appeared behind it, holding torches in the darkness. Rowan immediately recognized the dark haired one with the short spiked hair.
"I know you! You're the one who…." Rowan stopped his words. He remembered what Dantalion told him about his immortal blood being what every demon seeks. "I remember you from the night of Samhain."
He grinned a half-smile.
"Yes, I am Levi. I am Dantalion's friend and follower of the dark arts. Anything you may need, or anything you would like to know of the Realm of Goetia, please ask myself or the others," gesturing to the group of dark robed figures standing beside him. "Come in, welcome home!"
He led Rowan and the others through the main gate, leaving the followers standing guard until all the demons had safely passed into the stone Realm of Goetia. Leading them through the stone hallways, Levi showed the demons their chambers.
"Here is the ninth house," pointing to the massive stone archway opening up to a great room. "Each section of the realm is divided into nine houses that hold eight chambers, one chamber for each demon and their legions. You will recognize your sigils, which were forged by Duke Dantalion himself, each of metal, above your name. If you recognize your sigil, you may enter your chamber. There are several great rooms and dining halls throughout the realm as well, though I know Duke Dantalion shape shifted to dine," grinning at Rowan when he spoke.
"If you must know, Duke Dantalion told me of his appointment of Count Druitte as his first in command, and you, Master Rowan as his second. Seeing as Count Druitte is no longer demon, I assume you are governing his thirty six legions, correct?"
"Yes, I guess I'm the new master in command," Rowan smiled.
"If that is the case, then you will occupy Duke Dantalion's chambers along with his legions. It is this one here," pointing to the archway of the first house. "At the end of the long stone hallway, a glowing copper sigil will guide you to his chamber," Levi directed him. He spoke now in a whisper, taking Rowan off to the side. "Be warned, Duke Dantalion was a master alchemist. His ability to wield fire was the key to opening the master sigil of the Realm. You must decide what powers you wish to use when you are ready to attempt the task. Only you will hold the power to do so."
