"Thanks, would love one. Would you like one?" He said walking towards the kitchen which was directly behind her in her open concept living, dining and kitchen.

"Yes please." She said finally getting the bottle open and taking the pills.

"Cream and two sugars right?" He asked remembering from the beach house.

"Yes. Thank you." She said sitting up agains the arm of the sofa with her feet laying across the rest of the sofa, pillow under her bad leg looking to her left at Dave in the kitchen.

Handing her her coffee with the handle towards her, he sat down on the chair which faced her the way she was positioned on the sofa.

"Thank you." Sandra said smiling up at him while taking a sip of her coffee. "This is good."

"My pleasure." He responded, returning the smile.

"I am truly sorry that you are going through this because of me." He finally spoke after a couple of minutes of awkward silence.

"It wasn't your fault. I am the one who stepped on what ever it was I stepped on."

"This is true but if I hadn't of bought you there you wouldn't have." He said sipping his coffee.

"And this is true. It's all good though, things happen for a reason is all I can say. There has to be some reason why this happened."
